ESUT Admission Requirements 2024-2025: All You Need to Know

Enugu State University Of Science And Technology (ESUT) has unveiled its admission requirements for the 2024-2025 academic session, ensuring prospective students are well-informed before applying. Here's a comprehensive breakdown of the prerequisites for both UTME and Direct Entry candidates:

For UTME Candidates:

1.  O’level Requirements: Applicants must possess a minimum of five credit passes in subjects relevant to their chosen course, including English and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.

2. JAMB Score: A score of at least 150 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is mandatory for eligibility to participate in ESUT's Post UTME and admission screening exercise.

3. Choice of Institution: ESUT must be selected as the first choice of institution during JAMB registration.

4. Participation in Screening: Candidates are required to partake in ESUT's screening exercise to be considered for admission.

5. Age Requirement: Applicants must have attained the age of 16 by October of the admission year and meet ESUT's departmental cut-off mark for their desired course.

For Direct Entry Candidates:

1. O’level Requirements: Similar to UTME candidates, Direct Entry applicants need to have five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.

2. JAMB Direct Entry Form: Candidates must procure the Direct Entry form through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and ESUT.

3. Correct JAMB Subject Combination: It is crucial to select the appropriate JAMB subject combination for the chosen course.

4. First Choice Institution: ESUT should be designated as the first choice of institution during the application process.

7. Alternative Qualifications: In some cases, ESUT considers results from programs like JUPEB and IJMB A’level, provided applicants have achieved satisfactory results.
