The Federal Ministry of Finance, in partnership with the Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG), has launched the 2024 NESG Essay Competition, inviting entries from passionate young undergraduates across Nigeria. This annual competition aims to engage students in critical discourse on national development issues, offering them a platform to showcase their ideas and insights.

The theme for this year’s competition is “Collaborative Action for Growth, Competitiveness, and Stability.” Participants are encouraged to explore topics such as inclusive growth, business dynamism, societal security, innovation, and stakeholder collaboration. Essays should discuss how these elements can drive competitiveness and stability in Nigeria.
