FULafia Pro-Chancellor Commends Governor Sule, Seeks Support for University

The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Hon. (Mrs) Lola Fibisola Akande, has commended Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State for his exemplary leadership and development strides in the state.

During a familiarization visit to the Government House in Lafia, Akande acknowledged the governor's support for the university and appealed for additional interventions, specifically requesting the completion of a female hostel being constructed by the state government.

Governor Sule assured the council members of his administration's continued support, promising to expedite the completion of the hostel. He also encouraged the university to explore collaboration with private organizations for its development.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman expressed gratitude for the governor's interest in the university and emphasized the visit's importance in strengthening the university's partnership with the state government, ultimately boosting education.
