FULafia Vice-Chancellor Seeks Deeper Strategic Security Collaboration with NSCDC

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida, has reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to enhance safety of lives and property on campus.

Kida stated this while receiving the Nasarawa State Commandant of the NSCDC, Brah Samson Umoru, during a courtesy visit to his office.

He commended the Corps for its professionalism and continued support in maintaining security within the University community.

The vice-chancellor expressed his appreciation for the existing collaboration, pledging the University’s readiness to deepen the relationship.

He reiterated FULafia’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote security and well-being of staff, students and visitors.

Earlier, Umoru congratulated Kida on his appointment, assuring the University of the NSCDC’s continued commitment to safeguarding lives, property and public infrastructure.
