McPherson University has launched its first General Studies (GST) Compendium at the start of the 2025/2026 academic session, marking a major milestone in the institution’s academic development.

The initiative, driven by the University’s General Studies Department, is aimed at strengthening teaching quality, learning outcomes, and academic consistency across all GST courses.
Produced in two volumes, the compendium provides a unified and structured academic resource for all General Studies programmes. It consolidates course content into a single reference framework, ensuring uniform delivery while improving students’ access to core instructional materials.
The compendium contains a wide range of academic materials prepared by experienced scholars and subject specialists. The content blends theoretical foundations with practical perspectives aligned with modern educational standards and students’ intellectual development.
In addition to supporting classroom teaching, the resource is designed to promote independent study and critical thinking by giving students a reliable reference for continuous learning beyond lectures.

The launch reflects McPherson University’s commitment to academic innovation, quality assurance, and the delivery of functional, values-driven education aimed at preparing students for leadership and meaningful contribution to society.
