On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, a team of experts from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), led by Deputy Registrar Dr. N. U. Nwakanma, visited the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) for the accreditation of courses in the university’s College of Medicine. The delegation was warmly received by the Vice-Chancellor of FULafia, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, at the university’s main campus.

During the visit, Professor Abdul Rahman expressed the institution’s commitment to meeting the highest standards of medical education and ensuring that the College of Medicine continues to produce competent healthcare professionals. He also highlighted the importance of the accreditation process in maintaining quality assurance in medical training.
