Nasarawa State University Introduces Third Semester for Students with Academic Challenges
The Nasarawa State University (NSUK) Senate has approved the implementation of a third semester for students facing academic challenges.

The decision was made at the 118th Regular Meeting on May 30, 2024, following a committee report on the program's modalities.
The third semester aims to support students with carryover or spill-over courses, as well as those who missed exams or semesters due to unpaid school fees, late admissions, illness, or other related reasons.
Key details of the program include:
- Duration: Eight weeks (six weeks of lectures in online and physical modes, and two weeks of examinations)
- Fee: Students will pay a sum of ₦20,000 per course to the school management
- Commencement: The third semester will commence immediately after the second semester results are released
