The Managing Director and CEO of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), Mr. Akintunde Sawyerr, led a team to Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State, on Friday as part of a student loan sensitization tour.
The visit aimed to educate students on the availability of loans to support their education and provide information on how to access these financial opportunities. Mr. Sawyerr, along with his team, engaged with the university community, explaining the benefits and requirements of the NELFUND scheme.
The sensitization tour is part of NELFUND's broader effort to ensure students across the country are aware of the financial assistance available to them for the pursuit of higher education.
