NELFUND Intervention Secures Registration Deadline Extension for Taraba State University Students

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has successfully intervened to extend the registration deadline for students at Taraba State University, Jalingo.

Following imminent disbursement of student loans, NELFUND advocated for an extension to ensure uninterrupted academic progress for affected students. The university's management agreed to move the original deadline from August 9th, 2024, to a new date to be announced.

During a visit to NELFUND's headquarters, Taraba State University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Emmanuel Bako, and NELFUND's Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Akintunde Sawyerr, discussed the challenges faced by students awaiting loan disbursement.

NELFUND reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring no Nigerian student is left behind due to financial constraints. The organization will continue to collaborate with educational institutions to support students in accessing financial resources for higher education.
