On Thursday, 22 January 2026, the Olusegun Oke Library, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), organized a special lecture titled “Online Visibility as a Career Accelerator” as part of its ongoing digitization and academic empowerment agenda.

The event drew the University leadership, with the Vice-Chancellor represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Strategy and Development. Also in attendance were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics and Innovation), the Registrar, the Bursar, deans, students, and other distinguished members of the University community.
The session was facilitated by Dr. Testimony Olajire, who presented an innovative framework for academics and professionals to enhance their visibility and establish authority in their respective fields. Participants engaged actively, exploring ways to turn research expertise into impactful, accessible knowledge that reaches wider audiences.
A key highlight emphasized that the true purpose of knowledge is impact—research should not remain confined to journals but be communicated in ways that influence conversations, inform policy, and shape societal behavior.

This initiative reinforces the vision of a digitally empowered library at LAUTECH—one that not only provides access to knowledge but also equips the University community to amplify scholarship on a global scale.
The library expressed gratitude to all attendees for contributing to the success of the event, reaffirming LAUTECH’s commitment to leadership in research, teaching, and innovation.
