Oyo State Government Enforces Unified Examination Time-Table in Public Primary Schools
The Oyo State Government mandates public primary schools to strictly adhere to a unified examination time-table to ensure simultaneous participation and warns against examination malpractices
The Oyo State Government has mandated public primary schools across the state to strictly adhere to the unified examination time-table. This was disclosed by the Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB), Dr. Nureni Adeniran, during a monitoring of the first term unified examination in some schools on Wednesday.
The first term unified examination in public primary schools began on Wednesday and is expected to end on Friday. Dr. Adeniran emphasized that the motive behind this directive is to ensure the simultaneous participation of all schools in the examination.

The OYOSUBEB chairman also issued a stern warning against all forms of malpractices. He stated, “excuses will not be accepted from any school teacher caught in the act of aiding examination malpractices”.
Dr. Adeniran further appealed to school head teachers to ensure adherence to the time-table provided by the state government. He made this appeal after inspecting some schools in Ibadan North-East and Ibadan South-West Local Government Areas.

The chairman noted that the level of preparedness of schools and students was quite impressive. He applauded the smooth conduct of the exercise in the schools monitored and solicited the continued support of all concerned stakeholders for success in the education sector.

Some of the schools visited included Abadina Basic Schools 1 and 2, Army Children’s School, and St. Brigids Covent School at Mokola in Ibadan.
