Redeemer’s University Breaks Ground for New RUNSA Secretariat and Commissions Student Association Bus

It was a historic day at Redeemer’s University as the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shadrach Olufemi Akindele, led the university management in a dual-purpose ceremony to enhance student leadership and welfare.

The event featured the official "turning of the sod" for the new Redeemer’s University Students Association (RUNSA) Secretariat, alongside the commissioning of a brand-new RUNSA bus to meet the association's growing logistical requirements.

During his address, Professor Akindele charged the John Iniongun Terfa-led RUNSA executive to uphold the university’s culture of excellence and project completion. He expressed his firm expectation that the secretariat would be completed without delay, stating his optimism for returning soon to commission the finished structure.

Regarding the new vehicle, the Vice-Chancellor emphasized that the bus must be operated strictly under university guidelines to ensure long-term accountability and sustainability.
