The Saadatu Rimi University of Education in Kano has taken measures to enhance academic integrity and deter examination malpractice by installing Close Circuit Television Cameras (CCTV) in all its examination centers.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Yahaya Isa Bunkure, disclosed this during the presentation of 90 computers to the institution's academic union. He highlighted that the university invested N30 million to procure 90 inter-connected terabyte capacity computers as part of its Information Technology Development Initiative, aiming to compete favorably with other higher institutions of learning.

According to Bunkure, the procurement of these gadgets was financed from the university's revitalization funds, emphasizing the judicious use of funds for their intended purpose. He underscored the university's commitment to upgrading its infrastructure to align with global standards, fostering academic excellence, and producing future leaders and educators.
