SAZU Vice-Chancellor Appoints Professor Shehu Inuwa Galoji as Dean of Postgraduate School

The Vice-Chancellor of Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), Professor Fatimah Tahir, has announced the appointment of Professor Shehu Inuwa Galoji as the new Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies. The appointment, which has received the formal approval of the University Senate, is for an initial term of two years.

Professor Galoji is a seasoned researcher and academic with an extensive background in Leadership Behaviour, Managerial Performance, and Strategic Management. Prior to this role, he demonstrated significant administrative expertise serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Sa’adu Zungur University, formerly known as Bauchi State University, Gadau, was renamed to honor the legacy of Mallam Sa’adu Zungur, a pioneering nationalist and poet. Under the current leadership of Professor Fatimah Tahir—a distinguished microbiologist and the university’s first female Vice-Chancellor—the institution has prioritized accreditation, research development, and heritage-focused excellence.
