Senator Orji Uzor Kalu Commissions New School Buildings in Abia North to Boost Education

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North Senatorial District, has made a significant contribution to education in his constituency by commissioning new school buildings in Abiriba and Nkporo communities. This initiative is part of the senator's ongoing commitment to improving educational infrastructure in Abia State.
The newly commissioned projects include ultramodern classroom blocks at three primary schools: Agborji Community Primary School, Abiriba; Amamba Ukpo Community Primary School, Amaogudu Abiriba; and Ndi Agbo Community Primary School, Nkporo, all located in the Ohafia Local Government Area. The classroom blocks are equipped with modern amenities such as furnished reading desks, teaching boards, electric fans, and other essential equipment to ensure a conducive learning environment.

Senator Kalu, who was represented by his Senior Legislative Aide for Abia North, Victor Etie, and the Legislative Aide for Ohafia LGA, Mbila Uma Ayi, emphasized the importance of education and his belief that it is the greatest form of empowerment. Speaking on behalf of the senator, Etie stated, "These classroom blocks and other projects were undertaken in furtherance of Senator Kalu's commitment to ensuring a conducive learning atmosphere in public schools within his constituency."
The inauguration ceremony was attended by community leaders, educators, and local officials. The Traditional Ruler of Ndi Agbo Community in Nkporo, Eze Uche Arunsi, along with the PTA Chairman and NUT Chairman of Ohafia LGA, Elder Imo Nwankwo, expressed their gratitude to Senator Kalu for his ongoing support of the education sector. They highlighted his previous efforts to provide free educational materials, including school bags, textbooks, exercise books, and other instructional materials to schools in Abia North.

The dignitaries present at the events included Ojisi Iro Ogbaja, The OUK Movement State Chairman for Abia State; Robinson Otuwe, the APC Candidate for Ohafia North State Constituency; and several other local leaders.
