UDUS Graduate Wins Accesspreneur Business Plan Competition, Receives One Million Naira Prize
Abdullahi Nasiru, a 23-year-old graduate of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS) and a recently sworn-in member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has emerged as the winner of the Accesspreneur Business Plan Competition.

The competition, organized in partnership with NYSC Gombe State Chapter and sponsored by Access Bank, aims to encourage entrepreneurial spirit among corps members.
Abdullahi's business plan, focused on aquariums and fish farming, impressed the judges, earning him the first prize of one million naira. The competition aimed to support corps members in starting their businesses, with cash prizes ranging from N100,000 to N1 million.

The Gombe State Coordinator, Chinwe Nnenna Nwachuku, praised the program for encouraging corps members to secure their futures through self-development. Abdullahi attributed his success to his accounting background, experience in fish farming, and support from fellow graduate Ashir Adam. He plans to invest the prize money in an aquarium and fish farming business, aiming to reduce unemployment and generate revenue.
