UNILAG MBA Programme Welcomes Fresh Intakes with Inspiring Orientation

The 2023/2024 MBA Programme at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has kicked off with an invigorating Orientation for Fresh Intakes. On February 24, 2023, the UNILAG-MBA Fresher’s Orientation Programme took place at the Yaba Campus of the University, setting the stage for an exciting academic journey.

Distinguished guests graced the occasion, including:
- Professor Rasheed Kolawole Ojikutu, former Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences at UNILAG and current Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council at Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH).
- Professor Abraham Osinubi, Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies.
- Professor Adeola Sulaiman, Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences.
- Dr. Rachel Odunlade, Representative University Librarian.
- Dr. Abbass, Coordinator of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme.
- Mrs. Nonyem Oguama, Deputy Registrar and Administrative Head of the MBA programme.
The event commenced with an air of anticipation as the new MBA students gathered to embark on their academic journey. Professor Ojikutu encouraged the fresh intakes to embrace their studies with zeal, emphasizing the importance of critical thinking, interpersonal communication, emotional intelligence, strategic planning, and conflict resolution. He urged them to leverage the vast resources available within the university to build a strong foundation in both business theory and practical application.
