University of Ibadan Admission: Acceptance Fee Payment and Clearance Process
The University of Ibadan has laid down guidelines for the payment of acceptance fee by admitted students.
The University of Ibadan (UI) has released important guidelines for candidates who have been offered admission. If you’re one of the fortunate students who received an admission offer, here’s what you need to know:

Acceptance Fee Payment

Admission Letter Generation: If you’ve already generated your admission letter on the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), congratulations! If not, make sure to do so before proceeding with the next steps.

Acceptance Fee: Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable Acceptance Fee of Fifty Thousand Naira only (N50,000.00). This fee confirms your acceptance of the admission offer. Head over to the official admission portal at www.admissions.ui.edu.ng to initiate the payment process.

Payment Steps:
- Log in to the admission portal using your credentials.
- Check your dashboard; if you’ve been offered admission, it will be indicated there.
- Click on PAY ACCEPTANCE FEE. This will redirect you to the Remita platform for payment.
- Select University of Ibadan – 1000107 as the recipient.
- Choose UI : ACCEPTANCE FEE as the purpose of payment.
- Provide your JAMB registration number (e.g., 123456789123AB).
- Specify the amount to pay (50,000 Naira)
- Enter the candidate’s name as it appears on the admission letter.
- Complete all other required fields.

Important Note: Ensure that you select the correct NAME OF SERVICE/PURPOSE during payment. Any payment made into the wrong account head will not be refunded.

Clearance Process

- After successful payment, wait for 48-72 hours before returning to the admission portal (admissions.ui.edu.ng) to complete your clearance process.
- During clearance, upload the following documents:
- An institution’s copy of the admission letter.
- O/L result(s).
- PIN/SERIAL numbers of WAEC/NECO scratch cards for O’Level results.
Deadline
The admission portal will be open from Monday, 15 May to Friday, 23 June, 2023. Please note that there will be no extension of the deadline. Make sure to complete all necessary steps within this period to secure your place at UI.
