The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has issued an update to assist students encountering challenges with fee generation and course registration on the student portal.

The university explained that the registration system is structured according to programme type—Science or Non-Science—and student category, including Fresher, Returning, or Graduating Student. These classifications determine the applicable fee structure for each student.

Mandatory charges must be fully paid before registration can be completed. These include:

  • Utility fees
  • Departmental dues
  • Faculty dues
  • Convocation fees (for graduating students only)

Students are required to pay at least 50% of their Obligatory Fees to finalize registration. Field trip fees, where applicable, are also displayed on the portal for payment.
