UNILORIN Releases Harmattan Semester Examination Malpractice Regulations for 2024
The University of Ilorin has issued guidelines and regulations concerning examination malpractice for the Harmattan Semester Examination 2024. The examination is scheduled to commence on March 4th, 2024, and conclude on Thursday, March 28th, 2024.
To ensure the integrity and fairness of the examination process, candidates are reminded to adhere strictly to the following rules and regulations:
1. Authorized Materials and Conduct:
- Candidates must only use permitted materials during examinations.
- Unauthorized items are prohibited from the examination venue.
- Any inscriptions on attire or body parts must be relevant to the examination.
- Candidates should refrain from passing information to others during the examination.
- Collusion or copying is strictly prohibited; candidates must act independently.
- Silence must be maintained to avoid disturbing fellow candidates.
- Candidates must identify themselves using their matriculation number.
- Remaining in the examination venue until 75% of the allocated time has elapsed is mandatory.
- Participation in any form of examination misconduct, including impersonation, is strictly forbidden.

2. CBT Examination Guidelines:
- Candidates must adhere to the rules and guidelines set by the examination center.
- The use of wristwatches, mobile devices, and similar gadgets within the examination hall is prohibited.
3. Required Documents:
- Candidates must present duly signed original colored registration forms (not copies) during examinations.
- No registration form with any form of alteration will be accepted without proper endorsement by the Level Adviser and Faculty Officer.
- A University Identity Card is mandatory for identification purposes. Candidates who have misplaced their I.D. Cards are advised to request a replacement urgently.
It is imperative for all candidates to familiarize themselves with these regulations to ensure a smooth and fair examination process. Any violation of these rules will be met with appropriate disciplinary action.
