The University of Maiduguri's Counselling and Human Development Centre recently organized a training workshop on employability skills for career success, specifically designed for final-year students.

The event, themed "Employability Skills for Final-Year Undergraduate Students for Career Success," took place on September 8, 2025, at the Muhammadu Buhari International Conference Centre.

The training focused on practical skills such as writing Curriculum Vitae (CVs), cover letters, and application letters for jobs and scholarships, as well as preparing for interviews.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, emphasized that the workshop aimed to equip students with employability skills and career guidance, ensuring they are not only academically sound but also industry-ready.
