The management of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has released detailed instructions to guide students through the CODFEL course registration process for the new academic session, emphasizing correct procedures and warning against unauthorized modifications.
Students are instructed to begin by visiting the College Portal at portal.yabatech.edu.ng and selecting the CODFEL registration option. Alternatively, access is available via the “Student” menu on the college website.
Before accessing the CODFEL portal, students starting a new session must complete the statutory payment, available under “Make Statutory Payment” on the CODFEL landing page. Registration cannot proceed without this payment.
Once payment is confirmed, students should click “Commence Registration” to log in using their username and password. They can then select their preferred courses from the list provided. After course selection, students are directed to either proceed to payment or edit their choices. YABATECH advises careful confirmation of courses before generating fees, as payment amounts depend on credit units selected.
Following successful payment, students must return to the CODFEL Online Access Center and click “Submit Registration” to finalize their course enrollment. Failure to complete this step will render the registration incomplete.
Students may then log out and access the general student portal solely to print their course forms. The College cautions against using “Register My Courses” or “Unlock Course” on the general portal, as this may erase CODFEL-registered courses and attract penalties. Only the “Print Course Registration” option should be used.
For additional courses, students are required to visit the CODFEL office to generate an invoice for the extra units. Payment must be completed before returning to the office with proof of payment and the list of intended courses.
YABATECH reiterated that any attempt to update or unlock course forms through unauthorized means is considered illegal registration and may result in fines.
