Yobe State University Mourns Former Head of Service, Dr. Umar Meleh Umar

The academic and civil service communities in Yobe State are in mourning following the announcement of the passing of Dr. Umar Meleh Umar, a distinguished administrator and scholar.

Dr. Umar Meleh was a towering figure in both the state’s governance and its educational sector. Until his passing, he served as the Head of Department (HOD) of Biochemistry at Yobe State University (YSU), Damaturu.
