18-Years-Old Student Simeon Receives N500,000 Gift for Academic Excellence

Ms. Stella Simeon, an 18-year-old student from Ganye, has been awarded a cash gift of N500,000 by Hon. Abdulrazak Namdas PhD for her outstanding performance in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). Stella achieved seven distinctions and two B's in this year's WAEC exams.

The gift is intended to support Stella's university education, with Hon. Namdas advising her parents to utilize the funds if she gains admission to a university. Stella had previously scored 289 in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exam and has applied to study Medicine (MBBS) at the University of Maiduguri or Mahammadu Buhari University Maiduguri.

This gesture recognizes and rewards Stella's academic excellence, encouraging her to pursue her educational goals.
