Professor Olugbenga Ige, the Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko (AAUA) in Ondo State, delivered a poignant message to incoming students, urging them to prioritize their studies and embrace ethical values. His remarks were made during the matriculation ceremony of the Mufutau Lanihun College of Education (MULCOED) Ibadan Campus, Oyo State, which operates in affiliation with AAUA.

Addressing the freshmen, Prof. Ige emphasized the importance of holistic development, encouraging students to engage in extracurricular activities and community service initiatives to complement their academic pursuits. In his admonition, Prof. Ige cautioned against indulging in vices such as examination misconduct, cultism, rape, indecent dressing, and sexual harassment, reiterating that such behaviors are strictly prohibited and would be met with severe consequences.

Furthermore, he encouraged students to cultivate intellectual curiosity and critical thinking, challenging conventional wisdom and embracing interdisciplinary collaboration to address societal challenges innovatively.
