The decision to form this committee stems from concerns over declining enrollment figures and limited graduate employability in certain disciplines, which suggests that some programs may be out of sync with modern trends and market demands. The 13-member committee has six terms of reference guiding its assignment, including reviewing existing course offerings, evaluating program structures and content, and recommending rationalization, including introducing new demand-driven courses and phasing out obsolete programs.
