Ahmadu Bello University Requests Staff to Update Nominal Roll for Pension Contribution Remittance

The management of Ahmadu Bello University has requested all staff to update their nominal roll information to facilitate the remittance of pension contributions into their Retirement Savings Account (RSA) holders.

The request is in line with the National Pension Commission's (PenCom) efforts to ensure efficient, transparent, and accurate remittance of pension contributions.

The update aims to reconcile pension contributions for staff from July 2004 to October 2024 (IPPIS platform) and from November 2024 to date (GIFMIS platform). The information will be used to make outstanding pension contributions into individual RSA holders through their Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs).

Staff are required to complete a circulated template in Excel format and submit both soft and hard copies to the Office of the Bursar on or before July 16, 2025. This will help address complaints and discontentment related to pension contribution remittances.

The university's management is taking steps to ensure that staff receive their pension contributions accurately and efficiently.
