Blaise Felix Aliyu, a student at the Air Force Comprehensive School in Kaduna, tragically lost his life following an incident of severe punishment allegedly inflicted by two senior students. The victim, an orphan who had lost his parents in 2013, leaves behind a twin brother who also attends the military boarding school located in Mando, Kaduna.

Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, spokesperson for the Nigerian Airforce (NAF), expressed deep sadness over the incident in a statement issued on Saturday. He assured the public that a thorough investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances leading to Aliyu's death.

"The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, and the entire NAF community mourn the untimely death of one of our students at Air Force Secondary School, Kaduna, on June 19, 2024," the statement read.

Gabkwet emphasized the urgency of the investigation to provide clarity and prevent speculation surrounding the tragic event.
