Covenant University and Brunel University, London, have solidified their commitment to educational collaboration and international understanding by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on May 16, 2024. This agreement aims to foster research collaboration, develop early career research skills, provide mentoring opportunities, establish PhD programs, organize summer school programs, facilitate publications, and offer cultural and intellectual enrichment opportunities for staff and students from both institutions.
The endorsement of the MoU took place during the official visit of Covenant University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abuiodun H. Adebayo, to Brunel University. Founded in 1966, Brunel University London is globally recognized for its excellence in education, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It holds a distinguished position in the academic world, ranking joint Top in the UK and 4th in the World for International Outlook in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024. Additionally, it is among the Top 10 Research Intensive universities in the UK and boasts one of the largest Engineering Colleges in the UK, renowned for its creativity and innovation across various integrated programs and disciplines.
