Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Opens Applications for 2025/2026 Upgrade Programme

The Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi has announced the commencement of applications for its 2025/2026 Upgrade Programme for holders of National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) who previously graduated with Pass results and wish to improve their academic standing.

The programme is designed to give former students of the institution an opportunity to upgrade their ND or HND results in line with approved academic standards. It targets graduates who obtained their qualifications from the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi and are seeking improved grades for academic progression, employment, or professional requirements.

Eligible applicants must possess ND and/or HND certificates obtained at Pass level from the institution, along with a minimum of five O’Level credits in relevant subjects obtained in not more than two sittings.

The upgrade programme will run for one academic session, divided into two semesters, and lectures will be delivered through a combination of physical classroom teaching and online learning via approved digital platforms.

Applications are to be submitted online through the Polytechnic’s portal at portal.fptb.edu.ng. Applicants are required to click on Online Admission, enter their details, and generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦6,500. After payment, candidates must return to the portal to complete their application using their Application Number and phone number.

All applications must be completed and submitted within six weeks from the date of publication of the advertisement.
