Law students at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) recently enjoyed a unique opportunity to learn from top legal professionals, thanks to a capacity-building workshop organized by the university. The event featured insights from prominent legal figures, including Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Prof. Yusuf Alli and Chief Judge of Ondo State, Hon. Justice Prof. Alero E. Akeredolu.

During the workshop, Prof. Akeredolu delivered a keynote lecture on "Professional Ethics for Lawyers," highlighting the importance of ethical conduct in legal practice. She emphasized the critical role lawyers play in upholding justice and maintaining public trust in the legal system. Prof. Akeredolu outlined the essential pillars of legal ethics, including confidentiality, competence, integrity, and the duty to the court and society. She also provided practical advice on handling client relations and navigating ethical dilemmas.
Prof. Yusuf Alli, a Professor of Practice in Law at FUOYE, joined Prof. Akeredolu in engaging with students on the importance of adhering to legal ethics. The interactive session allowed students to ask questions and gain deeper insights into the professional world of law.
