The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA), Professor Leo Daniel—the first Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics in Nigeria—represented the university at the recently concluded Executive Development, Study Tour, and Knowledge-Sharing Programme held at King’s College London, United Kingdom, from 10th to 13th November 2025.

The programme, themed “Transformative Leadership and Innovation in Higher Education: Global Best Practices and Strategic Partnerships,” was organised by the Committee of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities (CVCNU) in collaboration with King’s College London, a globally recognised institution known for academic excellence and institutional innovation.
