The Federal University of Technology Minna (FUTMinna) has achieved a significant milestone with the approval of seven new academic programmes by the National Universities Commission (NUC). This development is expected to enhance the university's course offerings, providing students with broader academic opportunities in the 2024/2025 academic session.
According to a statement by the university management, the newly accredited programmes include emerging disciplines aimed at addressing contemporary societal needs. These additions reflect FUTMinna’s commitment to staying at the forefront of technological and academic innovation, aligning with national and global trends.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Faruk Adamu Kuta, expressed excitement over the NUC’s approval, noting that it reaffirms the university’s drive for excellence in education and research. “This approval is a testament to our continuous efforts to expand our academic horizon and provide our students with the best learning experience possible,” he said.
