Gregory University Uturu Hosts Second Induction Ceremony

Gregory University Uturu held its second sophomore induction ceremony on Friday, August 30, 2024, at the Aguiyi Ironsi Conference Center in Umuahia, Abia State.
The event was attended by notable figures, including the university’s principal officers, the Provost of the College of Medicine, Deputy Provost, faculty members, parents, and scholars. The highlight of the ceremony was the administration of the Hippocratic Oath by Dr. Victor Kolawole Gbenro, Deputy Registrar of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, on behalf of Dr. Fatima Kyari.
Twenty-six scholars took the Oath, marking their commitment to ethical medical practice. The ceremony also included the presentation of awards to outstanding scholars, with Dr. Ogaranya Peace delivering a speech as the overall best among the inductees.
The event was celebrated as a significant milestone for the scholars and the university. Congratulations to all 26 inductees!
