JAMB's appeal for increased funding aims to fortify its capacity in delivering quality services while ensuring transparency in the administration of examinations. The board emphasizes that additional financial support from the House of Representatives will facilitate improvements in examination processes and enhance overall service quality.
Addressing the shortage of Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide, JAMB has proposed the construction of six Professional Test Centres annually. These centres, to be established by the Federal Ministry of Education and entrusted to JAMB, are strategically designed to increase accessibility to examination services, particularly for candidates residing in rural areas.
