Yobe State University SUG Announces Temporary Accommodation for Non-Indigene Students

In a proactive move to support new and returning students, the Students Union Government (SUG) of Yobe State University (YSU) has announced the provision of temporary accommodation for all non-indigene students arriving for the 2025/2026 registration exercise.

The initiative aims to ease the transition for students traveling from outside the state while they await the official opening and allocation of permanent university hostels.

Ensuring Student Welfare

In a press release signed by the Welfare Director, Saidu Musa Baba, on behalf of the SUG President, the union emphasized its commitment to student comfort during the often-strenuous registration period. The temporary housing is specifically designed to provide a safe and accessible environment for students immediately upon their arrival in Damaturu.
