The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Kenule Beeson Saro-Wiwa Polytechnic, Bori, has issued a directive reaffirming that students are entitled to their officially approved break period from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.

The memorandum highlighted complaints from students about lecturers allegedly scheduling lectures during the designated break, an act the Union described as a violation of the Student Handbook.

The SUG stressed that the 12–1pm break is reserved exclusively for students to rest, recharge, and prepare for subsequent classes. Any encroachment for academic activities is strictly prohibited.
