KHAIRUN Hosts Workshop on 21st-Century Digital Skills for Educators

Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University Kano (KHAIRUN) hosted a workshop on December 7, 2024, aimed at equipping educators across Nigeria with 21st-century digital skills. The event, organized by Kano State National Education and Technology (NET), focused on integrating technology into education to improve outcomes.  

In his opening address, KHAIRUN Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, highlighted the transformative role of education in society. He emphasized the importance of combining education with morality, showcasing KHAIRUN’s distinctive curriculum that integrates morality lessons, Qur’anic recitation, and memorization alongside science-based courses.

The workshop attracted educators from primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions, providing innovative tools and strategies for modern teaching. Participants expressed their commitment to embracing technology to enhance educational delivery.
