LASU Begins Medical Screening Schedule for 2023/2024 Fresh Full-Time Students
Lagos State University (LASU) has initiated the scheduling of medical screening dates for newly admitted full-time students of the 2023/2024 academic session.

Lagos State University (LASU) has commenced the scheduling of medical screening dates for newly admitted full-time students of the 2023/2024 academic session. The University Health Services (UHS) has initiated this process to ensure the health and well-being of all incoming students.

To facilitate the medical screening process, LASU has provided a step-by-step guide for newly admitted students:
1. Check Scheduled Date: Newly admitted students are instructed to visit the LASU website to print their medical screening scheduled date. Only students who have been cleared via the LACACA Clearance portal are eligible for the medical screening.
2. Required Documents: On the scheduled date, students are required to present the following documents at the Outpatient section of the LASU Health Centre:
- Printed copy of the medical screening scheduled date
- Two (2) recent passport photographs
- Copy of receipt of payment for medical screening/medical fee
- Writing materials
- Facemask and Hand Sanitizer

3. Rescheduling: Students who miss their scheduled date should promptly contact the DICT (Directorate of Information and Communication Technology) to arrange for a rescheduled appointment.
It is important to note that parents, members of staff, old students, and friends are strictly prohibited from accompanying students to the screening area.
LASU emphasizes the significance of medical screening as a prerequisite for students' enrollment, ensuring a healthy campus environment conducive to academic excellence.
