The Muslims Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) chapter, has successfully organized its annual Sisters' Week program.

The event, themed "The Virtuous Cycle," aimed to empower Muslim women with knowledge and guidance on various aspects of life.

Day 1 of the program featured a panel discussion titled "Beyond Fairytale: The Marriage Myth," held at Sulaiman Masjid from Asr to Maghrib. The discussion focused on debunking misconceptions about marriage and love, with renowned speakers Prof. Aisha Abdulkadir, Dr. Hauwa Gidado Bello, and Sister Aisha Raji of Blooming Sisters.

 

The speakers addressed topics such as the Islamic perspective on marriage, identifying "red flag men," the role of love in marriage, overcoming challenges, defining abuse, and the importance of serving one's husband as an act of worship.
