National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) CHRD Trains Staff on Official Email and Zoom Platforms

The Centre for Human Resource Development (CHRD) of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) organised a one-day in-house training for its staff on the use of official email and Zoom communication platforms via laptops and smartphones.

The training, held at the centre’s auditorium, aimed to equip staff with 21st-century workplace tools to enhance capacity and efficiency, according to the Director of CHRD, Professor Aminu Umar.

Represented by the Senior Assistant Registrar, Mr. Jonathan Dyeri, Professor Umar noted that training in these key areas is vital for the day-to-day operations of the centre and the university at large.

He explained that “as the system continues to navigate the digital age, it is essential that we leverage these tools to enhance productivity, collaboration, and communication.”
