The End User participants went into two groups to carry out a task, to show their understanding of how to search for data, as faculties, directorates, units were grouped and categorized under different titles.
In a brief chat with the Admin Manager of the company, Mrs. Margaret Mwoltu, she said “The aim of building this software for the university is so that after building the software, it won’t be redundant and people cannot use it.
“So this End User training will guide them on how to utilise it, not just guiding them but to also select a few people who will be in charge of it; who will also guide others.”
Mwoltu said training members on how to utilise the software will create a process flow on how things will go on the data base management of the university.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor (DVC) Technology, Innovation and Research (TIR), Prof. Godwin Akper, along with the ACETEL director, Prof. Grace Jokthan, issued certificates of participation to participants at the end of the training.
