Nile University of Nigeria has made a remarkable start at the 11th All African University Games (FASU 2024) with outstanding victories in both basketball and tennis events.
The Nile Spartans basketball team delivered an overwhelming performance, defeating Guinea-Conakry's Université Général Lansana Conté de Sonfonia (UGLC SC) 93-45. This decisive victory underscores the Spartans’ strong presence in the tournament, setting the pace for future games.
In the tennis championship, Nile University’s Bamidele Omolayo impressed in the Women's Table Tennis Singles. Omolayo showcased her skill and resilience, advancing to the semi-finals as she continues to compete for the title.
