NOUN issues urgent notice to final year students

The Management of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has issued an urgent notice to all the final year students of the University on submission of authentic final year project, Myschoolnews report.

This was contained in a memo released by the University on Tuesday, 22nd August 2023.

The memo read thus;

I am directed to remind our teeming students that Research Projects are meant to stimulate their critical thinking and expose them to proper academic prowess.

Due to this all students are advised to desist from picking projects from various websites and individuals then copy-and-paste them as a project for final submission to our Institution. You should be informed that projects picked from these unauthourise places are lacking in genuine research and scholarly rigour.

The University strongly emphasize and appreciate the importance of original research, critical thinking and the development of unique ideas.

Henceforth, any student found guilty of submitting substandard projects WILL repeat the course.

All final year students are strongly advised to take note and abide accordingly.
