In a landmark achievement marking his first 100 days in office, Rector Malam Aliyu Balarabe of Federal Polytechnic has inaugurated a comprehensive new water scheme. This initiative is set to benefit both the institution and the surrounding Rugar Waru community, addressing critical water needs and enhancing the quality of life for students and residents alike.

The newly commissioned water scheme includes a substantial provision of 25,000 liters of clean water for the Rugar Waru community, ensuring residents have reliable access to this essential resource. On the main campus, the scheme allocates 18,000 liters of water to the female hostel, significantly improving living conditions for female students. Additionally, the College of Administration's student hostels will receive 20,000 liters, further enhancing the overall student experience and contributing to a healthier, more comfortable living environment.
