UNESCO Launches Online Course on Educational Planning
NESCO’s International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP) has announced the online course "Foundations of Education Sector Planning". The course is set to run from October 2, 2024, to July 22, 2025, and participants are expected to dedicate 10-12 hours per week.
UNESCO’s International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP) has announced the online course "Foundations of Education Sector Planning". This course is intended to provide professionals with the fundamental knowledge they need in educational planning, methodologies, and data interpretation.
The course is set to run from October 2, 2024, to July 22, 2025, and participants are expected to dedicate 10-12 hours per week.

The IIEP, a worldwide authority in educational planning training and research, is the course organizer. The course is designed to assist professionals from Ministries of Education, government agencies, NGOs, and development partners who are engaged in educational planning.

Prospective participants are required to have relevant professional experience, hold a three-year post-secondary education diploma in social sciences, and be proficient in English or French. Additionally, participants are expected to have good computer skills and complete an introductory course on descriptive statistics to qualify.
The tuition fee is $2,500 USD per participant, with payment due by June 28, 2024. Successful completion of the course will earn participants an IEP Diploma.
