UNILORIN Student Sets New Guinness World Record in Haircut Speed

Qudus Owoyemi, a 400-level student in the Department of Statistics at the University of Ilorin, has been confirmed by Guinness World Records as the new title holder for the fastest time to complete five skin fade haircuts.

Owoyemi achieved a remarkable time of 14 minutes, 56 seconds, and 83 milliseconds, surpassing the previous record of 18 minutes and 57 seconds. This feat was accomplished at the University of Ilorin, and was witnessed by the Sub-Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Garba, and the Students Union President, Joseph Ologundudu .

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Wahab Egbewole, commended Owoyemi's achievement, stating that the University is proud of his feat and will continue to support innovation and lofty ideals that elevate the institution's reputation.
