UNIMAID Student Union Government Addresses Campus Community Following Recent Sandstorm Incident
The Student Union Government (SUG) of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has issued a statement addressing the recent incident in one of the university's hostels, which resulted in damage and displacement due to a sandstorm.

SUG President Elect, CMR Hafix Muhammad Bello, expressed heartfelt sympathies to those affected and reaffirmed the union's commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
The union has taken immediate steps to address the needs of those affected, including providing necessities and essential supplies, and is working closely with the university administration to ensure the affected hostel is repaired and improved.
