UNIOSUN Announces New Appointments for Registrar, Bursar, and Librarian Positions
The Governing Council of Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has announced the appointment of Mrs. Atinuke Abosede Oguntunde as the Registrar, Mr. Muideen Akintayo Lasisi as the Bursar, and Dr. Olugbenga Wale Adewuyi as the University Librarian.
The Governing Council of Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has appointed Mrs. Atinuke Abosede Oguntunde as the new Registrar, Mr. Muideen Akintayo Lasisi as the Bursar, and Dr. Olugbenga Wale Adewuyi as the University Librarian.
In a statement released by UNIOSUN's Public Relations Officer, Ademola Adesoji, on Friday, April 19, 2024, the appointments were approved during the Governing Council's special meeting. These appointments follow thorough selection processes and recommendations from respective Selection Panels.
Meet the Newly Appointed Officials:
- Mrs. Atinuke Abosede Oguntunde, a native of Ilesha, previously served as the Deputy Registrar and College Secretary at the University’s College of Health Sciences. With academic qualifications from the University of Ilorin, including a B.A.(Ed.) in English Education and an M.A. in Literature in English, Mrs. Oguntunde is also a distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria.

- Mr. Muideen Akintayo Lasisi, hailing from Ido Osun, brings over two decades of finance and accounting experience to his role. Before his appointment, he served as the Deputy Bursar at the National Open University of Nigeria. Mr. Lasisi holds academic credentials from Osun State Polytechnic, the University of Lagos, and the National Open University of Nigeria, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
- Dr. Olugbenga Wale Adewuyi, a native of Ila Orangun, is recognized for his scholarly contributions in library sciences and administration. Dr. Adewuyi holds degrees from Obafemi Awolowo University, the University of Ibadan, and Babcock University, specializing in Dramatic Arts, Library Studies, and Library and Information Science, respectively.
Reacting to the appointments, UNIOSUN's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Clement Adebooye, expressed optimism, stating that these appointments signify a significant step towards UNIOSUN's commitment to academic excellence and institutional growth.
