Yobe State Government Scholarship Program Seeks to Uplift Youth

 A cohort of Yobe State youths, sponsored by Governor Mai Mala Buni's foreign scholarship program, has returned to Nigeria after completing their studies at Indian universities.

The first batch, comprising graduates from Kalinga University, India, is part of the 371 Yobe indigenes sponsored by the Governor to pursue various disciplines at first degree, master's, and PhD levels in 16 countries across four continents.

The scholarship program, initiated by Governor Mai Mala Buni, covers all expenses, including visa fees, tuition, accommodation, feeding, books, travel, and a pocket stipend, primarily targeting children from poor backgrounds across Yobe communities.
